Terms of Service

Consumer Protection Compliantv2.305/08/2026

Section 1: About Us and Legal Nature of Service

AUTOLINK acts strictly as an independent dispatch, coordination, and booking intermediary connecting motorists in need of roadside assistance with local, independent third-party service providers ("Operators"). We do not own tow trucks, nor do we perform physical towing, recovery, or repair services ourselves.

When you book through AUTOLINK, two separate legal relationships are formed: (a) a dispatch and mediation agreement directly with AUTOLINK for sourcing and coordinating assistance, and (b) a direct contract for carriage/towing or roadside repair between you and the independent executing Operator.

Our coordination services are available across major European transit corridors and countries (including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, and other supported European regions).

Section 2: How to Request Service & Contract Formation

Service requests can be made 24/7 via our dispatch hotline (number in Section 1 of the Privacy Policy & Legal Notice) or through our WhatsApp. Confirming a quote and completing payment via our payment link constitutes your explicit acceptance of these Terms of Service and an explicit request for immediate service execution.

If no independent local Operator is available in your area after payment is made, AUTOLINK reserves the right to cancel the order and issue an immediate 100% refund without any further liability.

Section 3: Service Area

We coordinate 24/7 roadside assistance, mobile repair, and towing services across the European Union and major pan-European transit routes (including Western, Central, and Southeastern Europe / the Balkans) through a network of independent local Operators.

Section 4: Payment Terms & Collection Structure

We guarantee a transparent pricing structure before any service is dispatched. The total upfront price paid by the customer comprises AUTOLINK's dispatch/coordination fee and the operational fee collected by AUTOLINK as an authorized payment collection agent on behalf of the executing local Operator.

TermDescription
Upfront QuoteA clear, fixed price estimate is provided before confirming dispatch based on the details provided by the customer.
Payment MethodsWe accept digital payments via Revolut, major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and instant bank transfers.
No Hidden FeesThe agreed quote is final for the declared vehicle parameters, location, and route.
CurrencyAll transactions are processed in EUR (€) unless otherwise specified in the quote.
InvoicingA formal electronic invoice (B2C or EU VAT B2B) is provided upon request.

Section 5: Cancellations, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal Waiver (EU Consumer Directive 2011/83/EU): By requesting emergency 24/7 roadside assistance and completing payment, you explicitly request that our dispatch and coordination service begins immediately before the expiration of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. You acknowledge that pursuant to Art. 16(a) and Art. 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU (and § 356(4) German BGB), your right of withdrawal expires once our dispatch coordination is completed (upon assignment and dispatch of the Operator), or that you are legally obligated to pay reasonable compensation for the services and call-out costs already incurred up to the moment of cancellation. Unjustified credit card chargebacks for dispatched services will be contested using dispatch logs and GPS/WhatsApp records.

ScenarioPolicy
Free Cancellation100% refund if cancelled before an Operator is assigned and dispatched.
Operator Assigned / En RouteOnce an Operator is assigned and dispatched, our dispatch service is deemed performed; a cancellation fee covering the Operator's call-out/empty run (Leerfahrt) costs and our dispatch coordination fee is non-refundable.
Operator No-Show / No AvailabilityIf no Operator is available or the assigned Operator fails to arrive due to their own fault, a 100% refund is issued immediately as the sole and exclusive remedy.
Force Majeure / Road ClosuresIn the event of police roadblocks, highway closures, or extreme weather preventing completion, a refund is issued minus any direct call-out costs already incurred by the en-route Operator.
Refund ProcessingApproved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Section 6: Our Role as Intermediary - Strict Limitation of Liability

AUTOLINK acts solely as a dispatch intermediary. We only facilitate the connection and coordination and do not act as a carrier (Frachtführer) or executing contractor.

The dispatched local Operator is an independent contractor and bears sole legal and financial responsibility for the safe loading, winching, transport, and unloading of your vehicle. Any claims for physical vehicle damage must be directed exclusively to the executing Operator and their third-party/carrier liability insurance (OC/OCP).

We are not liable for arrival delays (ETA is always an estimate) caused by traffic, border controls, weather, or third-party operational constraints, nor for the unavailability of Operators in remote or high-demand areas.

We bear no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed flights, hotel bookings, replacement vehicles, cargo loss, or lost business income.

Our maximum contractual liability as an intermediary is strictly limited to the mediation/service fee paid by the customer for the specific order.

Statutory Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health where such exclusion is prohibited by mandatory statutory law (including § 309 No. 7 of the German BGB).

Damage Claims Procedure: Any damage to the vehicle observed during towing must be reported immediately to the tow truck driver on-site and documented on the handover protocol (with time-stamped photos) before accepting the vehicle.

Section 7: Customer Obligations & Accurate Information

You must provide accurate GPS location, vehicle make/model, actual weight (including cargo), and fault details upon requesting service (specifically disclosing locked wheels, locked automatic/electric gearbox, lowered/air suspension, electric/hybrid drivetrain, or underground garage location). You, or an authorized adult representative, must be physically present at the vehicle with keys and registration documents when the Operator arrives.

If inaccurate details provided by the customer result in the dispatched truck being unable to load the vehicle, the customer bears the cost of the empty run (Leerfahrt) and any surcharge for dispatching specialized equipment.

Section 8: Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Any complaints regarding our dispatch and mediation service must be sent via email to info@autolink24.eu within 14 days of the service date. We review and respond to all inquiries within 48 business hours.

Consumer Dispute Resolution: AUTOLINK is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (including under § 36 of the German VSBG). Consumers residing in Greece may alternatively contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (Synigoros tou Katanaloti) at https://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr.

Section 9: Intellectual Property

All content, logos, text, graphics, and materials present on the AUTOLINK website are our exclusive property and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Section 10: Force Majeure

We are not liable for service failures or delays resulting from unforeseeable circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, roadblocks by police/authorities, strikes, telecommunications outages, or governmental actions.

Section 11: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Greek law and applicable EU regulations (including GDPR). For business customers (B2B), any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Piraeus/Athens, Greece. For consumers (B2C), this choice of law and jurisdiction applies only to the extent that it does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence (pursuant to Art. 6(2) of the Rome I Regulation).

Section 12: Modification Rights

AUTOLINK reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms of Service at any time. The version valid at the time of placing the order shall apply to that specific transaction.

Section 13: Severability

If any provision or clause of these Terms is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
