SECTION 1: WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone) when you visit a website. In addition to cookies, our website uses browser local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). These technologies help ensure the secure operation of the website, prevent abuse on emergency dispatch lines, remember your language preferences, and—with your explicit consent—analyze traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns across Europe.
SECTION 2: OUR CONSENT BANNER (GOOGLE CONSENT MODE V2)
Upon your first visit to our website, we display a cookie consent banner operating under the Google Consent Mode v2 standard. It allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies (analytical and marketing) in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Non-essential cookies are blocked until you grant explicit consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the 'Cookie Settings' link in the footer of our website.
SECTION 3: CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE

These are essential for the proper and secure functioning of the website (e.g., navigation, network security, bot protection, and saving your cookie banner preferences). They operate on the legal basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG and do not require prior consent.
3.2 Analytical Cookies (Consent Required – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
These allow us to understand, in an anonymized manner, how visitors interact with our website, helping us optimize the emergency breakdown reporting process.

- _clck — User ID (1 year)
- _clsk — Combines pageviews into a single session (1 day)
3.3 Marketing Cookies (Consent Required – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
These are used to measure the conversion performance of our European search advertising campaigns (Google Ads Conversion Tracking). They allow us to verify whether a user contacted dispatch after clicking a roadside assistance ad. Google Ads sets conversion cookies such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (retention period: 90 days). These cookies are activated solely after you grant explicit consent via the cookie banner.
3.4 Preference (Functional) Cookies
These allow the website to remember choices you make, such as your preferred interface language (the ?lang= parameter across our supported European languages) and your selected European region or transit corridor.

Our website utilizes external tools and communication channels that may process technical data or set their own cookies upon interaction:
